We believe that time spent in a restaurant is not just about the food, but about the way you feel and impeccable customer service. Our team strive to deliver a top quality experience that you will remember and will leave you feeling exceptional. The Fourwards experience starts the second you step foot in the door.

Once you have arrived, one of our front of our will be on hand to greet you and show you to a table in our drinks area at the bar for a pre-meal drink or two. This part of the experience is to allow you to unwind from your journey and to have some time to look over the menu on our blackboard, to the right of the bar and enjoy a relaxed start to your time with us, whilst we get your table prepared for you.

When decided, our team will come over to take your food order and show you to your table as soon as you are ready. We’ll then escort you to your table, double check you are happy with the location and present you with the drinks menus and explain how we work at the restaurant so you know what to expect.

Now that you’re food is on it’s way, you are relaxed and sitting comfortably at your table, you are all set for a wondeful time with us and we will be on hand for anything you may need.

Husband and wife team Adam and Stacey Ward took over Ashfields Restaurant on the 23rd April 2018.

Ashfields Restaurant had been standing in the tranquil village of Earl Shilton and had been well looked after by the previous owners for 31 years.

Having raised their family just a stone’s throw away from the restaurant, Adam and Stacey saw an opportunity to see their dreams come through and took over alongside their two very young daughters.

The name ‘Fourwards’ is testament to their family, with the ‘Four Wards’ coming together to turn the restaurant into a second home.

Their ethos at the restaurant is simple; to source, prepare, cook and serve ethically grown food that is family friendly, and perfect for any occasion.

The majority of the ingredients used by the team are sourced within 3 miles of the restaurant, with many elements being grown directly at the restaurant in their two greenhouses.

Having won the Best British Restaurant (Midlands) in the Restaurant Awards in 2019, Muddy Stilettos Best Restaurant In Leicestershire And Rutland 2021 and most recently, Englands Business Awards Best Restaurant In Leicestershire 2022, Fourwards Restaurant has become one of the most popular restaurant across the Midlands.

They are constantly reinvesting into the building and the restaurant to be able to provide a dining experience that is second to none.

CHEF PROPRIETOR

Adam has been working within the food and hospitality sector for all of his adult life and has made a name for himself as being an innovative, inventive and creative head chef; especially when it comes to flavour. Adam has a passion for utilising local and ethically sourced ingredients.

STACEY WARD

CHEF PROPRIETOR

Stacey has developed a solid career within the restaurant sector, and has a reputation for delivering quality dishes that awaken the senses. Best known for her time on Masterchef: The Professionals in 2010 where she reached the semi-finals, she now works hard to ensure the standards of food within the restaurant are second to none.

RESTAURANT MANAGER

Our restaurant is managed and supported by Sean who brings with him a wealth of knowledge, and passion, for delivering unrivalled dining experiences. Sean has worked with Adam and Stacey for many years in both front of house and back of house capacities and is there to make sure your dining experience with us is the best it can be.
